November at Eastside Academics School: Celebrating Community, Student Achievement, and What’s Ahead
As we move through the season of gratitude, November is the perfect time to reflect on the incredible support that makes the Eastside Academics School community so special. From celebrating student accomplishments to preparing for upcoming opportunities and events, there is much to be thankful for this month.
One of our biggest reasons to celebrate is the success of this year’s school auction. Thanks to the generosity of our families, friends, and supporters, we raised $18,100 to help enhance educational opportunities and experiences for our students. Every contribution helps us continue providing the personalized and enriching learning environment that defines Eastside Academics School.
Recognizing Our November Students of the Month
At EAS, we believe in celebrating students who demonstrate dedication, character, and a commitment to learning. This month, we are proud to recognize two exceptional students.
Issaquah Campus: Corinne
Corinne has been unanimously nominated by her teachers for her hard work, dedication, and positive attitude. She consistently gives her best effort, willingly helps classmates, and contributes positively to the classroom community. Her kindness, perseverance, and leadership make her a wonderful role model for fellow students. Congratulations, Corinne, on this well-deserved recognition!
Bellevue Campus: Shruti
At our Bellevue campus, Shruti has earned Student of the Month honors for her enthusiasm, engagement, and commitment to academic success. She approaches learning with curiosity and determination, actively participates in class, and consistently stays on top of her coursework. We are proud to celebrate Shruti and all that she contributes to our school community.
Parent Conferences Are Here
First-quarter parent conferences are an important opportunity to strengthen the partnership between home and school. These meetings allow families and teachers to discuss student progress, celebrate successes, and identify strategies for continued growth.
Conference dates this quarter are:
- Bellevue Campus: November 4-12
- Issaquah Campus: November 16-19
We encourage all families to participate and take advantage of this valuable time to connect with teachers.
Help Shape the Future of EAS
Family feedback plays a vital role in helping us continually improve and serve our students well. This month, families will receive two important surveys:
– Spring Electives Survey
Students will have the opportunity to select their preferred electives for the upcoming semester. Family input helps us build engaging and meaningful elective offerings while creating schedules that best meet student interests and needs.
– Cognia School Satisfaction Survey
As part of our ongoing commitment to excellence, we invite families to participate in the Cognia School Satisfaction Survey. Your feedback helps us identify strengths, opportunities for growth, and ways to continue providing a supportive and enriching educational experience for every student.
EAS Apparel Fundraiser Coming Soon
We’re excited to announce our upcoming EAS Apparel Fundraiser. Families will soon receive ordering information for school-branded apparel, just in time for the holiday season.
These items make great gifts while also supporting our school community. All orders will be delivered directly to the school for distribution. Additionally, families who would like to sponsor apparel for a staff member are encouraged to contact their Campus Director for assistance.
Important Upcoming Dates
- November 11: Veterans Day (No School)
- November 25-27: Thanksgiving Break
- December 21-January 1: Winter Break
Thank You for Being Part of the EAS Family
The success of our students is made possible by the strong partnership between families, staff, and our broader school community. As we enter the holiday season, we want to extend our heartfelt gratitude to everyone who helps make Eastside Academics School such a supportive and inspiring place to learn and grow. We look forward to finishing the year strong and celebrating many more accomplishments together.
